Legislation and requirements governing work at height

AFS 1999:3 – Stipulates that the risk of falls must be prevented by means of guardrails, work platforms or personal fall protection equipment.AFS 2006:6 – Applies when lifting equipment is used. Equipment must be used if there is a risk of collision or falling. AFS 2001:3A – The employer must provide personal protective equipment free of charge and provide instructions on its use.
