About the course
Wheel Loader Training – Construction and Civil Engineering
This course provides participants with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to operate wheel loaders safely in construction, roadworks, infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
The course focuses on safe machine operation, support work during excavation, material transport, loading operations, ground conditions, health and safety in the workplace, and effective working techniques in demanding construction environments.
The training is tailored to the participant’s prior experience and operational requirements, with an individual training plan ranging from 1 day up to 200 hours.
Target audience
This training course is aimed at people working in the construction and civil engineering sector, road construction, infrastructure, industrial projects and other heavy-duty work environments where wheel loaders are used.
The course is suitable for both beginners and experienced operators who require documented theoretical and practical competence in accordance with Swedish health and safety and machinery regulations.
After the training
Upon completion of the training, participants will have a solid understanding of the safe operation of wheel loaders in construction and civil engineering projects, including risk awareness, machine safety, work planning and efficient working methods.
Participants also gain practical experience of operating wheel loaders with various attachments and equipment typically used in construction and infrastructure projects.

Daily checks and preventive maintenance
Safe handling of machinery in construction environments
Material handling and loading techniques
Ground conditions, stability and risk assessment
Practical driving with various attachments and equipment
